Daily Thoughts 07/23/2014

I checked the library Twitter and Facebook pages.

I read some more of House of Outrageous Fortune.  I am reading about high end real estate development in Columbus Circle in Manhattan.

I spent some time looking at the filled in grants in the business office this morning.  I also spent a little time looking over the displays.

I finished reading the latest New York Review Books and the Baker and Taylor Forecast.  I interviewed a person for a part-time position.  I also printed up a new batch of flyers for programs.  Tomorrow the library is showing The Secret Life of Bees from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

I am working on an order for Career Examination Books that are published by National Learning Corporation.  There is a pre-labor day sale.  I am going to update and replace the older books with new editions. http://www.passbooks.com

I put the book, The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell on hold.

On the way home, I read some more of House of Outrageous Fortune.  I am reading about the start of the building of 15 Central Park West.  They describe a massive building of steel and reinforced concrete with a limestone facade.
