Daily Thoughts 02/06/2019

I read some more of Notoriously Dapper on the way to work.  I am reading about body confidence and self confidence for larger men.

I checked the displays and the gift books today.

I spent some time writing a little bit on social media.  Webjunction has a nice article with social media policy examples.
https://www.webjunction.org/news/webjunction/social-media-policies.html

I spent some time looking through the Mount Vernon Public Library Strategic Plan to help figure out what my department might need in terms of staffing as it related to the plan.  There was also some technology like MacIntosh laptops, a Gopro camera, and some other equipment that would fit with the plan.

I checked some more items in the 600s.

I spent some time working on ADP today.

I also started working on my monthly report.

There is an Introduction to Google Docs and Drive class today at 5:30 p.m.

I did not post anything on Sunday.  My computer hopefully will be ready today.  I have been using my smart phone.  I brought two chargers for smart phones this morning.

Right now, I am in my local public library typing on the public computers.

I read some more of Foresight.  I am reading about long term decision making.  Deciisons like how to deal with climate change which can be decades in the future.

Daily Thoughts 02/02/2019

I took my computer in to get fixed today.  I have to replace the hard drive and the motherboard.  Right now, I am at my local library on one of the public computers.

I read some of Foresight while I was waiting to get the diagnosis for my computer.  I am reading about decision making.  The parts before this were on mapping and forecasting.  People who read a lot and are open minded are more likely to make more accurate forecasts.

I spent some time working on making sure that a few programs are arranged on Monday.
