Daily Thoughts 04/02/2016

I started reading an Advance Reading Copy of The Never Open Desert Diner by James Anderson which is a mix of mystery and noir on the way to work.

I checked the gift books and the displays.

I checked the Twitter and Facebook for the library.

We had a play today, W.E.B. Dubois, A Man for All Time in the community room from 2:10 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There was good turnout and people enjoyed watching the one play.  It was by the Pulse Ensemble Theatre.  http://pulseensembletheatre.org/w-e-b-du-bois

I helped with the setup a bit.  Made the sure the refreshments were in order.  Gave a quick announcement about the Friends of the Mount Vernon Public Library supporting the play and watched the door a bit.
