Daily Thoughts 07/16/2013

This morning, I spent a little time thinking about ebooks.  There are a number of publishers which have some interesting content which I would like to see, Marvel, http://www.overdrive.com/files/Marvel.pdf ,  Lonely Planet, http://www.lonelyplanet.com/apps-and-ebooks/ebooks/ , and Safari Books http://www.safaribooksonline.com/  I am also thinking about ebook originals, items which are only available as ebooks, and Kindle singles which are short ebooks.

I checked the displays and the Twitter and Facebook for the library.  I also spent some time thinking about the web committee which is coming up.  I also am thinking about the computer classes.  I have a copy of Publishers Weekly to read.  It has been a quiet, steady day.

I spent a little time looking at the Digital Book World bestseller list which is broken down by price.

There are two computer classes tonight, a Microsoft Word class and a Fundamentals of Computer Operations class.
