Mrs. Cassatt Reading to Her Grandchilden, 1880, Mary Cassatt

Daily Thoughts 01/06/2015

I rested on the way to work on the train.  I checked the displays this morning.  I got a copy of Ingram Advance for Christian books for January/February 2015.  Books on Amish fiction are very popular.

I also spent some time working on an order of books for next week.  I read a copy of the latest Booklist.

I worked a little bit with the oversize books.  I also checked the gift books and had some donations added to the collection.

I spent some time talking to the Women's Enterprise Development Center for a February program.  I am going to the Metro Conference on January 15, 2015.  I also am planning on going to the Urban Librarians Unite conference on March 15, 2015.  The registration opens on February 1, 2015.
