Daily Thoughts 06/21/2014

I checked the Twitter and Facebook for the library.  I also checked the displays this morning.

There is a Computers in Spanish class this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

We also have an author talk today, Lori Ann LaRocco is reading from her book, Opportunity Knocking: Lessons from Business Leaders from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Grace Greene Baker Community Room.

On the way home, I finished reading The Island at the Center of the World The Epic Story of Dutch Manhattan and the Forgotten Colony that Shaped America by Russell Shorto.   It is reading for the Tuesday, July 29, 2014 nonfiction book club from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  The final part of the book is about the takeover by the English of the Dutch colony.
