I checked the library Twitter and Facebook this morning.

I read some more of The End of Power.  I am reading about soft power, or power created by culture, trade, diplomacy, and statecraft.  It is different from the hard military power of large armies and treaties.  China has openly stated that they are focusing on soft power and diplomacy.

I also read some more of Cat Out of Hell.  This book is on the Library Reads February list.  Also, Wiggy, the main character who is a bit daft is a librarian.

The Library of Congress is Having a Main Reading Room Open House, today President's Day.  I wish I could go, but I am in New York.
