Daily Thoughts 06/02/2014

This morning, I checked the library Twitter and Facebook pages.  I also spent some time looking at the bestseller lists.

We need diverse books Tumblr page. http://weneeddiversebooks.tumblr.com/

I read some more of War and Gold this morning.  I am reading about the New York and London as the financial capitals of the world at the turn of the century. The book is progressing steadily into World War I where financial leadership shifts from London to New York.  There are also some interesting bits about John Maynard Keynes.

I also read a bit more of The Fusion Marketing Bible.  Lon Safko reminds us that we should have a purpose for our social meda.  Right now, I like to think that there is a two fold purpose for our Twitter and Facebook pages which is to increase program attendance and advocate for how wonderful the library is.
