Daily Thoughts 09/21/2016

I checked the library Twitter and Facebook.

I am home right now resting.  I read some more of Power.  It is an interesting book.  Jeffrey Pfeffer tells you it is important to have good manners, be helpful, and build up the resources that other people need to have.  The more resources that you have to offer the more people will come to you.  He also says that is more important to start in a line job where you interact with lots of people than to start as an administrator.  Helping people with little things that people perceive as important moves you forward.  The book is not always intuitive.
