Daily Thoughts 10/26/2017

Lippincott's Series of Select Novels, William L. Carqueville, 1895

Daily Thoughts 10/26/2017

I checked the library Twitter and Facebook this morning.

I read some more of Endurance on the way to work.  I am reading about how they have to monitor an astronauts body constantly.  There is a lot of radiation in space as well as a lack of gravity which causes deterioration in the human body.

I checked the displays and the gift books.

We spent a little time discussing Give Gab which is a donation platform for libraries.

My colleague is working on the literacy program and just set up an English language conversation class for Spanish speakers.

There is going to be a report on the first annual Mount Vernon Author Fair in Black Westchester magazine coming up which should be quite nice.

I worked some more on the 900s today.  We are planning on doing some shelf reading.

There is a Microsoft Excel class tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in computer lab.
